Tecnargilla singles out digital creativity

The Tecnargilla Design Awards is the name of a new competition that Tecnargilla, the world´s biggest trade fair of technology and supplies for the ceramics and brick industry, is organizing for its 22nd expo, to be held in Rimini from 27 September to 1 October 2010.
Prizes will be awarded to companies that present the best designs for future collections of floor and wall tiles using innovative materials, applications and surface decorations that go above and beyond mere reproduction of effects that can already be achieved with other forms of decoration.
The competing products will be displayed in an exhibition that will offer visitors to the fair a digital angle on innovation, in an exploration of the new languages made possible by this technology.

The winners will be chosen by an international jury made up of designers, architects, and experts in the sector, chaired by a renowned professional.

The competition is open only to Tecnargilla 2010 exhibitors who work in this field, whether paint factories, design firms, or technology providers.
